ENGLISH for HIGH SCHOOL PREPARATION 
Our partner schools offer a comprehensive High School Preparation Program. Many high schools regard the program as an integral link between students and their prospective schools.

The High School Preparation Programme not only prepares students to enter into the high school academics, but also provide them with an environment that bridges the cultural and social adjustments to the respective country.

  1. General Description of High School Preparation  
    Programme

*  Small class sizes: with a maximum number of 15 to 18
   students
*  Intensive English teaching: emphasizes listening,
   speaking,
   reading and writing
*  Audio - video tape teaching to increase vocabulary,
   listening and
   reading comprehension.
 
 

2. Co-curricular activities

   *  Outdoor activities
   *  Inter school sports

3. Procedures of Enrolment, Orientation, Reporting and
   Graduation

a) Enrolment : * Assessment level of English in speaking, listening, 
    reading and writing; * Placement into appropriate class
b) Orientation and Reporting

   * English tests every two weeks, * Forwarding reports to students' families
   * Send report to receiving High Schools and agents

4. Graduation:
   * Evaluating level of proficiency; * Issuing Certificate of Graduation

5. High School Placement
    * A strong network enables to match schools with students on their behalf.

6. Uniform, Homework & Discipline 
   *
Many of European and Australian high schools require the student to wear an uniform which is
     determined by each school; * Homework; Students are required to sign the centre's homework
     policy and are required to obey to it.

7. Student Counselling
   * On site first language counselling assistance from specialist staff.

8. Homestay
  * Homestays are either in a homestay family or in the proper school residence
  * Assistance from homestay parents to help students with cultural transitions.

9. Guardianship
   SFC takes care to arrange guardianship for students under 18 years old.
