The Language Centre is located in an elegant Georgian Building, within walking distance of all the main cultural sites and shopping areas. Founded in 1977, it is one of Ireland's most reputable English language schools, attracting students from all over the world. The school is recognised by the Department of Education as an English language school for the teaching of English as a foreign language. The professional and personalised approach to both teaching and the organisation of each student's stay has gained the Centre a world-wide reputation for excellence. The Teaching Teachers are all university graduates with teaching diplomas and EFL qualifications and, above all, yers of successful teaching experience. The school has developed its own teaching methods using very carefully chosen materials and the most up-to-date learning techniques. Besides videos, tapes and TVs all the latest published textbooks and workbooks are used in class. When you arrive at school you are interviewed and tested to determine the appropriate class for your level of English. Levels are from elementary to advanced and available throughout the year. Private and small group tuition is available, particularly to students with special professional, business or cultural interests. The Package includes: * 20 classes per week of English language tuition in a group of not more than 12 students * Test of arrival and certificate on successful completion of course; * Use of all books, workbooks and materials necessary for class; * Full board accommodation in an Irish host family (breakfast, packed lunch, evening meal and all meals at the weekends, two students of different nationalities per family), half board for individual participants; * Registration fee; * On arrival the students will be collected from the airport and when going home brought back to the airport (individual participants will be offered one transfer on arrival, but may order both services upon request); * Two afternoon excursions per week organised. These include a variety of events such as: cultural and /or historic visits, popular films in English are available; * Full day excursions out of Dublin at weekends - one excursion for a 2 week package, two for a 3 week package and 3 excursions for 4 weeks; * Free access to all school facilities; * Bus ticket, which allows unlimited travel in the Dublin area (groups only); |
